This to the Weatherford Texas Farm Bureau Insurance office. We were sent a Letter this Friday March 14 that stated Texas Farm Bureau was cancelling our homeowner policy without any written reason. This stems from a conversation with Sonny Black who by the way acts like he is on your side but he isn’t he is a Company Yes Man. He acts like he is on your side and is batting for you but that isn’t the case at all. I heard from other Homeowners if your Roof is a little bit old and your Home is an older home which ours is a 1900 but restored and put on The Old Home Tour and was actually a Bedand Breakfast at one time so it is all been restored TEXAS FARM BUREAU is not interested in insuring it when they have plenty of new homes to insure. We asked a Professional Licensed by State of Texas Roofer to come out look at our Roof to see if it needed Repairs and he sent a letter stating after inspecting it it was in great shape. This was 7 months ago. We have lived in Parker County Weatherford 42 Years and are appalled to be treated this way. I will be filing an inquiry about their practices with the Texas Insurance Board as this is a Form of discrimination against older homes. I say SKIP this Company if your thinking of HOMEOWNER INSURANCE GO ELSEWHERE!

Jamie Lucero was supposed to give us quote for home owners, vehicle, boat, VPP, and an umbrella....but instead lectured us about how many companies pulled out of Texas. She insisted she could only do paperwork in person and needed copies of appraisals for a quote. After all of this, she said she had a quota on policies she could write each month.....What I heard is Texas Farm Bureau does not want my business this year or for the next 30 years. They don't want to offer me any services ever, which after speaking with Jamie is just fine with me. If you need a used car salesman, call Jamie.

I got insurance here for a new car purchase. After some shopping around I found that Texas Farm Bureau Insurance what's about half the price of their three major competitors in the area for the same product. You have to join a membership in order to have insurance here, but it's very affordable I think $30 a year. And you save far more than that over the year through cheaper premiums.
