  I had a genuinely fantastic experience working with Jacob while shopping around for home and auto insurance. Over several days of texts and phone calls, I was so impressed at his patience and terrific client skills in quoting out my home and auto policies. What really stood out was how knowledgeable Jacob is about insurance industry in general, not just State Farm products. He took time to explain how all the different coverages work, what actually matters when comparing quotes, and things to pay attention to even if I ultimately ended up with another company. Never felt rushed or pressured, and he was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge. He also pointed out a potential issue with my home insurance policy - It was clear he had my best interests top of mind the entire time! If they are playing the long game instead of a quick sale, it’s working. Once this large and unfortunate collection of car wrecks fall off my driving record, my first call with be to Jacob at Blake Smith State Farm to get an updated quote. Highly recommend!

  I had been shopping around for new auto insurance since Progressive decided to start changing prices because reasons. I checked out Allstate and Geico and I wanted to get a quote from State Farm to add to the mix after looking at a website that stated that these three were among the best auto insurance companies in Texas. I reached out to the Blake Smith Agent firm and spoke to Jacob Ramirez. Straight shooter, that guy. He was honest about what they offered and he was able to match what I had with Progressive and we were done quickly. It was a bit of a downer that State Farm no longer offers any kind of discount for paying in full over a 6 month period, but my rate was still better than the other companies at their 6 month rate, so I can't complain. I would definitely say to do your due diligence when it comes to auto insurance, but I found the blunt honesty of Mr. Ramirez to be what sold me on going with State Farm. For the 6 months I'll be working with them, the price won't change. That's nice. And State Farm doesn't charge a renewal fee according to Mr. Ramirez, so there's that, too. Hopefully that stays the same in 6 months, but we'll see. I hope this helps someone.
