  Could barely get a response out of them. There was an out of office message at first so not including that. I included my declarations page and asked for an auto insurance quote. Matthew Bertling responded asking for a list of information (much of which was already included on the dec page). Okno problem. I responded to other all requested information. After about 5 days I got a message from Matthew’s assistant, Melissa Kelly. She needed more information. No problem, I provided the information as requested. I have sent a follow up email, but here I am nearly a month later, no response.

  Shop around before using Texas Farm Bureau. Had them for over 6 years. Recently switched to another company and am paying $150 LESS per month for the exact same coverage. Not to mention, they have an annual membership fee that cannot be put on auto pay. If you forget to call in and pay, they cancel your insurance without much notice. There are cheaper options out there that can be fully on autopay so you have one less thing to think about!

  My wife and I foolishly drove around for almost 3 months with a terminated policy produced by this office in Round Rock. This happened on account of internal errors between my agent and Texas Farm and Bureau policy service department. Our policy was promptly reinstated. I understand human error but I was expecting my agent or Texas Farm Bureau to apologize for putting my family in financial risk. Luckily nothing happened during that period and all is well. His assistant was wonderful and helped me fix the problem. She was understanding and I wish I didn't have to write this review with a 1 star. She deserves a 5 star review but this issue is exclusively with my agent and Texas Farm and Bureau.
