Luis Rodriquez- I’d avoid this agent at all cost, because he’s a scam. He “helped” me create a policy with the company last month, only to find out a month later he completely fabricated and lied about the contingency of the policy, which ultimately resulted in my policy increasing double due to circumstances that were undisclosed to me. After noticing the more than half price increase, I attempted to reach out in hopes he would fix what he caused, however he chose to ignore my phone calls and emails, leading me to look for assistance in another agent and management. He initially quoted me at 66.45 for a 20 year old vehicle and I was satisfied and decided to accept the policy. I asked him every viable and necessary question I could before agreeing to the terms. He expressed that moving forward my policy was due on the 11th monthly and would be 66.45. A month later I receive a bill for 122.00$. I was confused. Come to find out, Luis had applied a myriad of discounts that I had to eventually account for but was unaware of. One of them being proof of previous insurance, which really wasn’t an issue….i provide the documents required and they still refused to honor the initial price I was quoted for. There’s a lack of integrity and it appears that he’ll do whatever he has to, even under the guise of dishonesty to merely make a sale; even at the expense and inconvenience of the client in the long run. He’s severely irresponsible, unprofessional, manipulative, and the tone he decided to take with me was very condescending and gaslighting once his insufficient customer service was highlighted. Within 30 days the experience has been nothing less than distasteful. I don’t want to hold the whole company accountable for his behavior, so at best I’d suggest a different agent.
Rekaya, on the other hand was insightful, patient, willing to assist and literally went over and beyond to help rectify the issue to the best of her ability. She maintained a line of communication and assured me she would do everything in her power to rectify the issue. Although the problem is yet to be resolved, i felt important to detail the facts in hopes that potential new clients can avoid the experience I endured.
Update: I’m still waiting on manager to contact me. I was informed one would reach out by 2:30pm; it’s 5pm, and instead of directly replying to me, I received a response via review….?
