Run away from this company. We purchased a brand new home in 2024 that was completed in 2023. The builder needed to tweak a few joists in the roof. Instead of working with us they were ready to CANCEL us. We worked with the builder and they made the adjustments and we assumed that the matter was settled. Fast forward to January of 2025 and now Texas Farmbureau has arbitrarily decided to not renew our policy. The only reason given is "Underwriting reasons." I tried getting in touch with my so-called "agent" and it appears to me that she is dodging me now. We paid the entire year of insurance premiums upfront when we closed on the house. I would hate to have to file a claim and be denied. Again don't fool with this company. They treat you very poorly and feels very disrespectful.
