  I came from San Antonio and decided to move to my local office. Worst move I could have made. I can never get hold of anyone, much less the agent himself. I’ve contacted the office repeatedly and there’s either no one there or the person who answers sounds like she’s done with life in general. I even had my old agent try to contact this Mr. Davis to have him contact me and nothing. I asked a question I knew the answer to and the person who answered the phone lied to me. They want to charge a $45 fee in addition to high rates? Absolutely not. After 4 years with Texas Farm Bureau, I am done. No need for an agent who never responds, never calls back, and hires rude, deceptive office staff.

  deceptive pricing practices, not to mention is very arrogant and has an attitude when someone questions him to get more clarification. would not do business with him. Cannot be trusted.

  Edit for 2026: So it went down. Then went back up. Now, I bet it will be higher the next round. I really thought this insurance company would be able to care about their clients. Rates have gone up over $100 in a year and you still pay membership fees. Every single time we call there are no agents, they are always at conferences or other events. Getting quotes this week. You’ve become no better than any other NATIONWIDE insurance. Zero benefit to stay local.
