I tried calling the TFB office in Boerne several times to switch out our policy to Kendall county and to add homeowners insurance to our auto and umbrella policy we already have with TFB. However, I refuse to do business with a company that requires you to press this number and then that number then another before even getting to a human…. Which I never got to and so it just hung up on me. So now we are looking for an insurance company to switch over to where customer service actually matters.

Got a quote from Susan Pick today. When I told her I didn’t want to disclose what I’m paying monthly for car insurance she laughed at me, said it must be bad, and said she doesn’t insure people who aren’t upfront. She then said she would tell me anyway. She wanted $591.66 a MONTH for full coverage on 2 cars, 2 drivers without roadside and rental car. I have good credit and no fault accidents and no tickets on either driver. She was very rude and arrogant towards me once I didn’t want to disclose the amount. I just wanted to see what their best offer is and it is over double what I’m already paying for less coverage. Here’s your disclose and buyer beware. They also don’t insure houses inside the city limits of Boerne Texas anymore due to some study they did. Add on a $47 per person annual membership fee and it’s a lot of money. I am a disabled Veteran with a kid in college and caring for another disabled child full time. I am not rich. I was referred to her by a friend who used to use them before moving and she had nothing but good things to say. However she started with them almost 20+ years ago so I guess it was a different experience for her.

Not impressed just with asking for a quote. The person in the phone acted as if I was bothering her to get a quote. Kinda makes me rethink my decision to even look at the quote.
