I called this company to get an auto insurance quote for two vehicles and came prepared with all my information, expecting a quick and straightforward process. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
After going through the questionnaire efficiently, I was told the representative would need to call me back with the quote. This immediately stood out as unusual, since most companies can provide quotes in real time over the phone. When I asked why, I was told my information had been written down and still needed to be entered into their system to generate the quote.
That process raised some concerns for me. Writing down sensitive personal information on paper before entering it digitally feels outdated, inefficient, and potentially risky from a privacy standpoint. It also unnecessarily prolongs what should be a quick interaction.
When I pushed to stay on the line, I was kept waiting 10–15 minutes, only to be transferred to another representative. After an additional wait, I finally received a quote—roughly 20 minutes later. The price was shockingly high, nearly double what I currently pay, despite having a perfect driving record, excellent credit, continuous coverage, and requesting only minimum liability.
When I asked about the high rate, I was told it was justified by “better customer service,” which didn’t align with the experience I had just gone through.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed. The handling of personal information, long wait times, and lack of transparency made for a frustrating experience. I ultimately decided to go with another company that offered a more efficient and professional process.
