  This insurance company is the worse insurance company please everyone don't use this company they're liars big liars in they are sneaky in conniving in shady in the agents are rude ,customer service is horrible in they will upcharge your credit card without telling you the reason why they over charging your credit card they are thieves they need to shut this insurance company down immediately immediately!!!

  Insurance policy rates are good. However customer service line needs additional training on active listening. When transfered to a agent for customer service inquiries about my bill, there was alot of background noise on the reps end but the rep did not open with a hello it was dead silence. Expect for their background noise. I waited about 30 seconds into the waiting for the rep to introduce himself however that did not happen I had to speak up first and say hello to make sure someone was on the line. And 2nd when verifying my info with rep I gave him my name and dob and policy number and again. Nothing but silence for almost a min. I then again had to ask if he was still there. And then the rep said yes I am waiting for you to get your information. I said sir I just gave it to you nice and slow and clearly. At which time he stated he didn't hear me. So I had to repeat my self. Then once I got my one question answered he asked me to stay on the line to complete the survey I said yes and then more silence I said sir are you still there? He said yes I said okay im still waiting for you to transfer me to your survey system. And he said oh I didn't know if you wanted to complete it or not I was waiting for you to hang up. I said sir , I did say yes to complete your survey. Im sorry but active listening is a big part of successful customer service care. And I felt that this rep one didn't introduce him self I didn't get a name he didn't say hello thank you for calling direct auto how can I help you . I had to literally make sure someone was on the line first. Please make sure your reps are answering the calls by introducing them selves and actively listening to your customers. Some ppl are on their lunch breaks in between jobs and trying to get answers in a reasonable time frame. Having to repeat your self can lead to customers getting frustrated when they feel un heard. Also please make sure they are answering calls leaving no dead air and introducing them selves when they answer a call. Because I could have hung up and called back if I felt no one was on the line becsuse lack of rep introducing them selves. Thank you. Hope this helps
