  Stay away from this insurance office. I was a customer for many years and to my dismay, and also to my utter stupidity I trusted Zubin and his staff have to do right by me and to do right by anyone I would have referred to their office. Well, that was a mistake! This Allstate office had the incorrect square footage of my home stating that my square footage was over 2000 ft.² and I got ripped off for many years and they refused to provide me with a refund except for one year in 2025. Their job and reviewing the policy each year is to make sure that they have all the facts correct but instead they pushed on this responsibility only to me and took no responsibility for their errors, and obviously that only proved that Zubin and his team never actually reviewed my policy, which I’m sure they do not review anyone else’s policy either. Shame on me, as next time I would never be so trusting I should’ve looked, but when something is done automatically for years, you just try to give full faith and trust to the people that you’re working with. On top of that, they didn’t even have water back up on my policy. It was me who reached out to them last year to add water back up, which could be a significant out-of-pocket cost for a homeowner if there is a water backup from toilets, pipes, etc. bursting in the home. And the best part is, it’s not even very expensive to add this to one’s policy, but they never thought to think to protect me, but yet Zubin tells me that he thought we were friends well guess what Zubin friends do look out for each other and you didn’t look out for me. Now let’s get to the real upsetting fact about Zubin and his employees Wendy, who works for Zubin sold my father a liability only policy for his home that’s worth at least $700,000 in the same town in which I reside. My father is 83 1/2 years old and understandably very upset being on a fixed income over the cost of premiums between homeowners insurance car insurance, etc., and Wendy without even thinking twice, allowed my father to purchase a liability only policy for his home. Let me be clear this liability only policy would only be helpful to my father if someone slipped and fell on his property or inside his home, but if this house burned down if a storm came in and destroyed the entire property, my 83 1/half-year-old father would not have a home to live in and nor would he be reimbursed to rebuild his home. To this date, almost 2 months later, I’ve been requesting a refund of the liability only policy and this request was submitted in writing on March 9 and also verbally when a new binder was obtained with State Farm to cover my father‘s home properly to ensure he would have the protection to protect one of his most valuable assets. To Date— . My father still has not received his refund (which would’ve been a prorated refund effective March 9 of this year for that liability only policy). The best part Zubin sent me a text message privately basically threatening me that if I don’t stop ruining his reputation, he would take matters into his own hands sue me for defamation of his character. -Yet, a person with good character and good morals and values would never have allowed any of his agents to sell my father a liability only policy and Zubin knew that this was my father and didn’t even pick up the phone to even try to make sure that I knew what was going on. A real friend would protect the people that he cares about and their loved ones. Not to mention a person with good character, and with a sense of a ethical business practices; would’ve taken upon his own accord to follow up to make sure that my father received his refund and here we are almost 2 months later and Zubin tells me it’s out of his hands yet he’s the one who contacted RPS Melville, which is a broker that was paid for my father’s liability only policy. I have much more to write, but I have things to do and I’ll be calling Zubin into office now to demand for him to follow up with the broker that he paid for my father’s liability only policy to find out where my father’s refund is.
