- KBKathy BergMay 13, 20265.0I recently called my State Farm insurance office to double check to make sure I had "hurricane" insurance included into my homeowners policy. I spoke with a very delightful young man named Drew. He admitted he was new to the insurance game but went out of his way to make sure I, did in fact, have a grandfathered in hurricane coverage in my policy. He didn't hesitate to double check with his supervisor since the hurricane coverage has recently changed. Since housing prices have dramatically increased, he also reminded me of my current "replacement cost" and calculated a current replacement cost adjustment. Im now covered with an updated replacement cost, for just a few dollars more, and comprehensive hurricane coverage. Good job Drew!
