  I’ve been a customer with this agency for 30 years and have coverage for my car and home because there is a discount for having both. Barbara was great when she walked me through the details of a complicated hail damage claim. I’ve spoken to other people in the office that are good too, but I’ve just spoken most often to her.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience working with Kenzie at James Carlton State Farm. I recently moved to Chesterfield, and she made the entire process of updating my renters and auto insurance quick and easy. She took the time to explain everything, answered all of my questions, and even found a way to lower my auto insurance while making sure I had the coverage I needed. It’s refreshing to work with someone who’s responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about taking care of their clients. If you’re looking for great customer service and an insurance team that’s easy to work with, I highly recommend Kenzie and the team at James Carlton State Farm.

  Where to begin? I called in to get coverage on my home after it was flooded by an MSD sewer discharge. I talked to Mike Bates and told him in very gruesome detail what I needed. My home had been destroyed and my life was in shambles, and he wrote me a policy that he assured me would cover me in the event my home was destroyed again. I even took it to my uncle to review, who might I add, WORKS IN STATE FARM CLAIMS. And even he assured me I would be alright. 1 year later, my home flooded again. So I called Mr. Bates and filed a claim. He assured me I would be covered, my uncle assured me I would be covered, Hell, even the adjuster who came to my HOUSE assured me I would be covered. And then what happened? Ooooh no, declined declined declined declined declined. At every turn. So I called Mr. Bates and asked him what was going on? Why was I denied? And not only was he unprofessional, he had no empathy, and might I add he was supremely condescending. I’m now thousands of dollars in debt and out of a home because of his weaponized incompetence and of course, “There’s nothing we can do Sir.” Of course there isn’t, you wouldn’t make any more money if there was. If I could give them negative stars I would. I would not trust State Farm, or this business with ANYTHING much less my home and my life that I worked so hard to build.
