  After my current insurance skyrocketed, I decided to reach out to get a quote. Lauren was AMAZING! They provided quick and efficient communication, guidance with a claim situation on a house we were in the process of purchasing, and an overall great rate for home/auto insurance. Highly recommend!

  I have been retired for 20 years after spending 25 years as a captive agent for American Family Insurance. During the last 20 years I have been unable to find an agency that would or could provide the customer service I deemed acceptable until recently. I am more than pleased with the customer service from Barry and his staff. No more .com challenges! Marisa is the gate keeper and she does her job well.

  We worked with the wonderful Lauren Akins at Jenkins & James Insurance and it was an amazing experience. The attention to detail and quick communications made the experience amazing. Lauren made sure we had the right coverages for all of our vehicles and house. Not only that, she nearly cut our bill in half. We are saving so much money and have better coverage than with our previous insurer. Thank you Lauren!

  My husband and I owned a business in Smithville for over 30 years. My husband was loyal to our old insurance agent and doesn't like "shopping" around for insurance. Once we sold the company, I decided to shop around and emailed 5 different agencies. I submitted my current declaration pages and requested quotes. I was super cautious in answering questions from the different agencies and told all of them just to match our current limits so I could compare apples to apples. I wanted agencies to email quotes because I didn't want to talk to anyone and be persuaded (trust issues LOL). Three of the agencies emailed me quotes as I had requested and never followed up with me. One of the agencies emailed me several times and kept calling me persistently which was a huge turn-off. They repeatedly kept asking how much I was currently paying so they could beat my renewal. Well, I don't work that way! Lauren Akins with Jenkins & James followed up with an email and asked if I received the quotes and asked if I had any questions. She never asked how much I was currently paying. She was professional and told me our current insurance company I had was a good insurance company but she wanted to see if she could offer suggestions. She was super helpful and exhibited superior customer service and earned my trust to the point I transferred ALL of our insurance policies to Jenkins & James (both homes, our rental property, all vehicles and trailers, our travel trailer, and our Umbrella Policy. She saved us just a little over $1600 annually with her creativity. Transferring to Jenkins & James was seamless and required no effort on our end. I gave her our credit card number and she took care of everything for us. Lauren earned our trust and we have referred her to our adult children for their insurance needs. I'm sure the entire staff is great to work with but Lauren Akins was the one that was responsive and never pushy. We had a great experience!
