  Had a claim on the roof of my house. The field represenative Paul Schaefbaur is who came to look. He denied the claim but admitted there was damage. I called the company and was told there was nothing they would do. what crappy company and rotten adjuster ! there happy to take your money and not pay on claims. One star is way to much !

  I don't even have insurance through you,and yet you had a claims adjuster taking photos,and climbing on our house roof and garage. VERY MAD at the tactic you used to get business.He claimed it was the wrong address gps brought him to,our address is out front plain as day. The neighbor next to me was the one he was suppose to be at was not true,because he never called in a claim.If I could give a zero rating I would. We saw him on our cameras,as we weren't home.He was still out in his truck when I got home,so I was not a happy camper.

  I’ve had so many issues with North Star Mutual to begin with. When I called their claims office, they were in a very negative mood and hardly wanted to help or take care of us. My neighbor advised me to change due to them not getting fully covered and having to fight with an appraisal to win the claim with clear damage and a discontinued existing roof and siding. I had to wait 4 weeks before I had to reach out again to get my adjustment scheduled after I had filed a claim, and no one followed up with me until I called back again. Now I’m with a new carrier, as I’m still fighting North Star to take care of me the way the policy says. Six of my neighbors and workers have dropped North Star for many reasons. Every case can be different, and anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. I’m just sharing my and my relatives’ experience.
