  I have been with Mike and team for 20yrs, following my parents who have been here for almost 30yrs. They always swore they would stick with Mike after he made sure my sister who was hit by a car was taken care of. That was in the late 90s. During my time with Mike there were multiple instances where Berry abd Candace bent over backwards to make sure I was always covered. Mike would send birthday cards and made a point to remember who we are. Then genuineness in Mike and his team is unmatched. This past month I got into me first real accident which was followed by a 2nd accident in the rental car. When I was on the side of the road still, I immediately called Mike's office and spoke with Karen. Words cannot express what it meant having Karen to discuss things with as I was super worried of the bill because I passed on getting the additional insurance through Enterprise. Karen was so knowledgeable and empathetic. She helped me think clearly over the situation and the options while making sure to genuinely put my best interest at heart. She also explained some things I had no clue of to be sure I wasn't taken advantage of at all. I never once felt I had to twist an arm to get anything covered for either accident. State Farm ended up covering much more than I would ever guessed on the rental as I was at fault. I'm still in awe. I know this is long but whoever is reading this and debating this office, I hope this helps. This type of "service" goes far beyond an insurer/insured. This office genuinely cares. This is the culture Mike and his team created and it's such a rarity these days. I could care less if I could save a few bucks elsewhere. The peace of mind I have with this agency is worth far more.

  This morning I called the wrong State Farm office. I was "greeted" by Candace. She "snippily" said that she couldn't find me. The worst thing was when I simply asked for the number of the other office, she said, " well, you didn't ask for it!" All because I told her first, I will Google it because she didn't offer it at first! I then spoke with the owner who advised that she's gotten compliments for 20 years. If you want to run your business with rude people, go right ahead. If I were a new, potential customer, I would have hung up. Go to the other Grand Haven State Farm office.

  Been with Michael Heck since 2006. Never done me wrong. Reacts quickly and gets the claims done efficiently and effectively.
