I was referred to this agent through the Montgomery County Black Collective, but my experience has been consistently unprofessional and disorganized. As a new business owner seeking a commercial policy, I expected clear guidance and modern communication; instead, I was met with '90s-era document handling and constant, repetitive requests for my basic information.
The communication is a loop of phone tag with inconsistent follow-up. Her office staff is unable to explain policy details, so you are reliant on her communication. She handles simple logistics with unnecessary complexity, every few months I find something she did not review with me. Most frustratingly, I discovered at the end of my policy term that I was eligible for a policy discount of over $150 because I already have other insurance policies. I wasn't aware of this information, and I wasn't told to use the carrier's app for better document management; I just knew from experience.
Whether it is a lack of respect for smaller policies or just outdated business practices, I cannot recommend her. A broker should provide clarity and advocacy; this experience felt more like being tossed around than supported. New and established business owners should look elsewhere for a personable, transparent professional.
