The policy that was cancelled due to your billing error is a Home with Landlords and Hosts exactly the same as the current active policy. That's not what raised the premium by an additional $30.00 !! Your associate said it was because of the wrongful cancellation, so now I have a lapse of coverage on my record!! That's playing games!! Not purchasing multiple homes. You think you're slick. Try apologizing, recognizing your mistake and do better. Again that is not true, your associate told me he was glad I switched Agency so he wouldn't have to "deal with me anymore" and proceeded to hang up on me when I called him to let him know all our cars do not have to be at the same location because another agent from Allstate had just informed us our son can have his car garaged at our other house and he processed the change. Your associate told me our policy was cancelled and premium increased due to lapse in coverage. I couldn't believe it. You were rude insinuating I "play games" because I bought other houses due to having a large family who we help, so what? There's nothing wrong with helping out or having multiple homes that's not playing games this is America not NK. You've been rude and insulting instead of helpful the complete opposite of what I believe Allstate as a company is. Wish we could've had a good experience, your agency's location is close to us but that's not what happened unfortunately. Hope this can be an opportunity to do better in the future, I wish you well.
Agency reply to my review is a lie. We went in person and paid for our policies in person and asked you to notify us when the home policy was ready for payment. YOU DID NOT. You and your agency have our payment information we provided you our credit card which you used and we've had automatic payments for YEARS on all properties and vehicles, we never had a problem until we switched to your agency. Instead of billing correctly you let our policy lapse which your associate claims left our home UNINSURED!! Unbelievable. Then when I find out instead of apologizing for your mistake your associate is rude and reinstates the policy at a higher premium!! UNREAL. You're lying which is shocking since you claim to be a fraud investigator. You didn't bill us correctly causing our policy to cancel which would have been catastrophic and I will fight this lapse as it was your fault. Then you had our vehicle garaged at the wrong location and your associate lied telling us it has to be at the same address, but when I called Allstate they said it can be garaged at our other house. You have no idea what you're doing and you're rude about it. Admit your mistakes and apologize for the inconvenience you caused us. That's how a professional business conducts themselves not lying about the situation. Also for anyone reading, Allstate has changed their landlord policy it seems, to a "Landlord and Host" policy to make up losses due to Airbnb claims which is what upset me because I don't Airbnb. Our family lives in our homes, that's what caused our premium increase, how is that the right policy for us when we don't Airbnb? There should be an extended home or second home or just a Landlord policy without the added premium for Airbnb risks, but for permanent family living situations. But agent claims it's better because all he has to do is hit a button if I want to move back into my other house. That's costing us about $300 more. All that aside, what I'm documenting is the agent's mistake regarding our home policy cancellation, incorrect garaging address and inaccurate information for our son's vehicle. Instead of agent updating correct garage address, he told us it wouldn't be covered because all cars had to be at the same address and if they weren't my son needed a whole new other policy!!! Glad Allstate has an 800# to call for assistance. We have switched agencies of course.
They messed up our home insurance policy, had inaccurate information on our auto policy, made errors on our policy that could’ve been catastrophic. Most unprofessional agency I have ever been to.
