- TKTj Klingenberger4 days ago2.0This is a difficult review to write because I understand how much a negative review can impact a company. I cannot speak for all of State Farm, but I can speak about my experience with this agent’s office. In my case, it was extremely difficult to get out of a policy I no longer needed. I informed the office that I did not wish to renew, yet I received multiple phone calls asking if I was sure I wanted to cancel, along with several automated text messages encouraging me to renew. After the policy was finally canceled, I was then billed for additional “grace time” that I did not need, request, or agree to. I was surprised to learn that this grace period was apparently mandatory and something I would still be expected to pay for. To try to get some resolution, I called State Farm’s 800 number. After providing my policy number, I was told this was not a business policy, but an auto policy. In hindsight, I am glad I found this out now, because based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable relying on this agent’s office or State Farm for my insurance needs going forward.
