  Never use these ,FORRESTON Mutual,and 3rd party DIAMOND MUTUAL, they go thro TAAKE Insurance they cheat customers ,dont pay on claims "RATE 0" i lost my parents home on JANUARY 20,2025, i filed claim, thieft stripped gutted furnace,wiring,antiques, busted all basement windows and doors ,frames for doors in ,police called them crack heads ,had already hit 4 other houses,. i didnt live there but my son does since 1989,heres how it started , i canceled dad car insurance in 2021 who was Safeco car Insurance again with taake insurance they copied death certificate and deed to house told me go ahead just keep paying on it if i want,so i did, never told to change writing on insurance, but they did take my money from my ATM card for 4 years and dads name wasnt on my card ,at that time dads house was insured by Horse prairie in Red Bud thru 1980s-2024, again Taake ,then i didnt know who had it till i filed claim for damages. had these loosers FORRESTON AND DIAMOND MUTUAL 3RD PARTY cause of theses jokers lost everything BeWare WORST COMPANIES TO GO THROUGH 3RD PARTY my lawyer said they didnt want to shell out that much money so screwed me over ....watch out for these buisness

  They will not honor cancellation date! Tied making my payment before cancellation and they absolutely refuse to let me pay!

  I really wanted to give them no stars....I contacted Forreston Mutual back in May 2018 to cancel my policy. I spoke with someone who refused to take my request to cancel and would not allow me to send them a written request to cancel. I was told that they needed to mail me something to complete (which they never did). I contacted the Department of Insurance to file a complaint. Ironically, they are aware that I tried to cancel in May 2018, but now they are insisting that they did cancel me for non-payment in February 2019. Cindy at Forreston Mutual Ins Co. said her manager said it is too late to get my money back and she told my Mortgage Company that the agent is now deceased so that is one of the many reasons they have used to refuse to return my money. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing my complaint with the IL Department of Insurance and the Attorney General for Consumer fraud. I would not recommend any of their products or lack of service to anyone. Buyers beware......
