- TJTALITHA JACKSONAug 26, 20265.0My husband will be 65 in January 2027. We were very confused, anxious, and concerned about there being so much out there to choose from. Picking the wrong plans for him was definitely a huge worry. A friend HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ABC Healthcare. It's a bit early for enrollment, but we called and scheduled a consultation with Mike Clark. We went in actually expecting one of the advantage plans to be shoved at us, but that definitely did not happen. We did know enough to know that because of my husband's complexed medical needs, an advantage plan was not in his best interest. Mike agreed, and explained Medicare Parts A & B (pays 80%), a Medigap plan (pays the other 20% that Medicare doesn't cover), and a Part D plan for medications. He was very knowledgeable and extremely thorough in his explanation of everything. He even had visual aids of everything to help us get a better understanding. We left feeling as though a huge weight had been lifted off of us. We'll be going back in October to sign up for everything. I am confident that turning 65 and the Medicare process is now one less thing that we have to worry about, because ABC Healthcare has everything under control.
