  Norma, representing Pete Fernández’ Allstate office, took my call regarding my auto insurance issues. I presented my issues and was pleasantly surprised at the level of service offered. My experience at present with customer service has consisted of the following: After being on the phone for 10’s of minutes of automated menus and holding, I’m usually routed to reps who are typically positioned in outsourced locations (abroad), who, after long waits, come online, hear my issue, and respond with out-of-context, mechanical, uselessly apologetic and scripted responses. My experience here was not the aforementioned. Norma built client rapport, understood the problem, provided a solution, and followed through with the result, over a 2-week period! These sound like standard processes but I assure you they are not, in my experience. Being on the cusp of considering insurance alternatives, Norma reminded me that my current insurance agent is top notch. Norma is the benchmark for a practice I thought to be long dead: customer relations. Norma is keeping in the highest standards and reputation of Allstate. I hope Norma’s peers maintain this standard and that management recognizes her for service above the industry standard. Thank you Norma for all your help!
