I've been working with the Kimberly Shurtleff office for several years now. Our main point of contact is Janel Clum, who has guided us through changes to our policy with new cars/home move/etc. She's consistently quick to respond with clarity, and makes the entire process easy. Very thankful to have a provider who makes things easy for us!

Adventures of adding an 18 year old driver to my policy while here for the summer.
1st: got estimate for $25ish per 6 months to add her via text messaging with State Farm/Shurtleff
2nd: got bill that charged for less than a month at almost $90 for June and a new bill that is over $35 more per month than my regular bill.
3rd: contacted the office/person who gave the estimate today and was told that it was out of her control after the estimate is given, it’s a big company and they just can’t let people know of the changes and if they do, the mail service is the mail service and they lose things. She said they could retroactively cancel and I said I would ask my daughter - we both agreed that she didn’t need to drive my car with the rate and she’d be at college soon.
4th: contacted the office back though no one wanted to pick up. On the 2nd attempt, the woman I haven’t spoken to informed me that my daughter can’t be removed because if you have a drivers license, you are required to have an auto policy even if you don’t have a car and won’t be driving. What the???
Waiting for response and action, but oh my goodness.

We are first time home buyers and Janel saved our LIVES!!! Almost quite literally lol she noticed a major error on our current home insurance and informed us we had the total wrong policy. It was a major difference in coverage and we would have been DONE for if she hadn't caught it!! Somehow it slipped past 4 other people. (And yes, we spent 2 days digging deep with our mortgage company, HOA and several other insurance agents to confirm that she was correct and not just selling coverage we didnt need) She is a whiz and a blessing in disguise! Very kind and knowledgeable and just a smart person! We were able to get the right coverage and put our minds at ease when we were losing them for a couple days!! We don't have enough good things to say about her. Thank you janel. Truly ❤️
