  Avoid this agency at all costs. After being a customer, they raised my premium by a staggering 31% in a single year—with zero claims and no changes on my end. When I reached out to ask for a better rate, I was told their pricing was “competitive.” ​They promised to look into my policy and see if they could bring the cost down, but after waiting a week with no word, I had to follow up myself only to find out they had done absolutely nothing. No research, no adjustments, and no effort to keep my business. ​I did my own shopping and switched to a local competitor. The result? I am saving nearly $800 a year while getting double the liability coverage and a significantly lower wind/hail deductible. ​ It is clear that Farm Bureau is not interested in being competitive or providing actual service. They are happy to hike your rates and hope you don't notice. Do yourself a favor and shop around—you’ll likely find far better protection for a fraction of the price. Stay away.
