- EOEric Going OverseasMay 1, 20205.0Called State Farm insurance about replacement of 2 broken windows after a bad hail storm here locally. I honestly didn't expect anything. My house is very old. Matt has always provided me very good service in the past with vehicles, thus I thought I would ask. After filing my first claim ever, my deductible was more than buying the new windows myself. I told the company not to bother. State Farm however didnt see it that way. They insisted on having an adjuster come out. I saw no point but felt like I had nothing to really lose. That wasnt the case. State Farm is replacing at only cost of deductible......The high steep Gambrel Style roof on my 2 story, full attic house....complete tear off 3 layers of tar and base of wooden shingles. Laying all new plywood and shingles.... Completely tearing off my garage roof, plywood and all. Complete tear off of my tool shed roof as well. Siding will be replaced on the west side of house and north. House wrap installed as proper. My two west windows I originally called about.....they will be replaced as well. I will be a lifetime customer with State Farm and Matt McCall of Tipton Iowa. I'm am very happy I called to ask.....😁😁😁😁
