- LFLeon FarmerAug 3, 20261.0The people are nice, like most of the reviews say. But folks you have to be kidding with this . . . Got my renewal notice in the mail, it stated an increase of 27% in my new premium. I've had no claims ever, even through all the weather we have had this past year. Farm Bureau has not had to pay a single red cent on my behalf. Last year same time, I got the same increase notice, I chose a low or no deductible when I first purchased the policy. So to keep my same premium last year at renewal, I had to take my deductible up to $2500. I told my agent if they can't keep me at least the same, with no increase, that I'm done. They don't even have to finance my premium, like 99% of all the other customers. I have cost them absolutely nothing, I just continue to bring them multiple thousands of dollars, an they continue to try metaphorically rob at gunpoint.
