  I have NEVER in my life dealt with such an incompetent and unprofessional insurance company. Direct Auto Insurance is by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I have been trying to get in contact with my adjuster, David Stanley, for OVER A MONTH, and not once have I received a callback or any kind of meaningful response. This isn’t just a one-time thing — I have been calling almost EVERY SINGLE DAY, leaving messages, following up, doing everything I’m supposed to do as a customer… and still NOTHING. No updates, no communication, no accountability. At this point, it feels like they just take your money and completely ignore you when you actually need help. The lack of professionalism and basic respect for customers’ time is beyond frustrating — it’s unacceptable. If you’re considering this company, save yourself the stress, time, and headaches. Go somewhere else, because clearly customer service and responsibility are not a priority here.

  I would only recommend to maybe my enemies. Florida drivers - stay away! If you decide to change within 60 days (say for instance you find a different provider with the same coverage for 18% of what direct auto charges, shoutout progressive) they make canceling impossible. The only help was Kevin from the escalation team. Thanks Kevin.
