- DCDel CallmanApr 1, 20222.0I'm giving an extra star because Pamela was so nice when I initially contacted the company. She quoted an Allstate policy that I decided not to purchase only because I decided to sell my condo and it was easier just to renew my existing policy for a short term. Based on my previous experience with Pamela I was anxious to purchase an Allstate policy for my new condo. When I called I was forwarded to Victoria Nava. After a discussion of my needs she emailed a quote from Citizens Insurance. UH???? Not only was the premium crazy expensive but had bare minimum coverage. I had never heard of them but learned online that they are government owned and are kind of a last resort high risk company. I reached out at least two times by both phone and email to inquire as why she didn't quote Allstate which Pamela had previously done so easily. After a week with no replies I contacted Univista Insurance. I ended up purchasing a Castle Key (Allstate) policy. The whole process took one day. Literally half the premium of the Citizens quote with dramatically better coverage and very responsive service from the agent.
