- JCJustin CintronMar 23, 20261.0would not suggest allstate or waste your time calling the people at this branch. I called to get my deceased father’s auto and renters policy canceled and they were extremely unhelpful. They told me that they will not cancel it even tho the vehicle and his apartment are no longer in his name and they will continue to charge him. They told me they only needed a death certificate on the phone and when I supplied that, they said via email I need other documentation as well. I asked if a POA could be used but they told me, no. This is just insurance you should not need an act of congress to cancel. I’m glad you guys can sleep and call yourself a good business while knowing you’re going to profit off of someone’s who’s passed.
