I had a very disappointing experience with this State Farm office. I called to file a claim after a State Farm policyholder hit my legally parked vehicle. The agent, Jose, was repeatedly unhelpful and unprofessional. He told me I needed to contact the claims department, but before giving me the number, he argued about liability and repeatedly said that filing a claim “wouldn’t do anything” or “guarantee repairs,” which isn’t accurate unless there is evidence that their insured is not at fault. This continued even after I made it clear multiple times that I still needed to file a claim.
When I explained that my vehicle isn’t driven and therefore isn’t insured, he lectured me about insurance laws even after I clarified the situation. When I asked for the claims phone number for the 4th time, he finally provided it and said it was only because he wanted me “off his line already,” and added that I could “just Google it.” He also laughed during our call, which I found extremely unprofessional.
I have never dealt with this level of rudeness and dismissive behavior. It made an already stressful situation worse. I have documentation of this and will be reporting this experience to State Farm.
