Alvaro Guillen’s office texted me about insurance. I ordinarily click stop to these types of messages but I actually needed insurance. I built a house 1 1/2 years ago and because I have no mortgage I hadn’t gotten around to getting my house insured. His office called right away and for once all the info I gave his assistant did not need to be repeated when Alvaro called right after. Then he said he’d call back after researching options. He called back almost immediately and unlike the other company I’d talked to a year ago I didn’t have to buy California Wild fire insurance separately — that alone was fantastic! Then when I told him how email is a poor way to contact me other than signing the policy he gave me a number I can text in the future. Less than one hour I am insured for less money and better coverage than I had been told was possible a year earlier. His (and his assistants) respectful nature made the transaction a pleasure. Very unexpected as these days I generally feel bullied and abused when talking to pretty much any Company — for once I felt I was treated like a customer. These days even though you’re spending money I usually feel bullied and harassed and so he’s got a customer for life. And I’m a person who usually tells others “no I don’t know anyone I can recommend” lol. But just this once? I can recommend him and his office and say you can expect efficiency, respect and friendliness. It was a nice surprise.

Sandra was incredibly friendly, professional, and easy to work with throughout the quoting process. She took the time to answer questions, explain my options, and made everything feel simple and stress-free. On top of that, she has a fantastic sense of humor and kept the conversation enjoyable from start to finish. I, myself, have always enjoyed working with Allstate. I feel like they hire knowledgeable staff who truly take their time to educate regular people on the importance on insurance and coverages and explain how insurance works.
