Purchasing a new home brings about the times when most check their policies for updates or changes. I had the opportunity to work with one of the best agents at State Farm that the industry has to offer. Immediately from the introduction, Matt Townsend made himself personable and professional in character. I was paying my homeowners, auto and motorcycle to an agency I’ll call US**. I thought for years that I was getting the best price possible for my 1700 sq ft home, so I inquired them for a quote on the new 2400 sq. ft. home. When I got the quote back it was so ridiculous it made me question everything! I then called another agency that I’ll call, Framers. They framed up a quote the was beautiful at the onset until I looked at the details. I thought…. Framers should be ashamed of themselves! There was literally no comprehensive and collision protection defaulted for my vehicles. As I began to enter those numbers - I thought Awful… Then comes the online quote from State Farm that was under a microscope. The closer I looked…. The more I liked it! Then I called… Matt Townsend at State Farm is a listener that stops when the customer speaks! He gave me his best educated opinion on several occasions that left me feeling fitted with a policy that was tailored to my needs. All in all, I got the current home and the new home insured at about 2/3 the cost of what I was paying previously. This is significant and worthy of warning/sharing with anyone that has not checked your policies on Home and autos with Matt Townsend at Matthew Morris State Farm Agency! Between my vehicles, closing and sell dates and 2 different addresses he kept the data straight and got it all right! Give Matt Townsend a call and keep those ever increasing policies out of your life!
