  I called Ken Phelps State Farm in the Pasadena/Houston area recently for a homeowner’s insurance quote after my current company raised our premium by almost 92%. As a newer homeowner , trying to shop policies and understand all the factors that affect insurance pricing has been overwhelming. Tamara at State Farm was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and kind throughout the entire conversation. She took the time to explain what affects the cost of homeowners insurance in Texas and answered all of my questions without ever sounding rushed or condescending. What really impressed me was her honesty. When the quote came back higher than our current budget, Tamara didn’t try to push me into a policy I had already said we couldn’t afford. Instead, she kept helping me. She didn’t get frustrated with my 50 million questions 😂. Most companies I’ve called will look up my address and immediately say they’re not writing policies or that it will be out of my price range. Once they realize they probably won’t write the policy, the conversation ends. Tamara was completely different. Even knowing I might not become a customer right now, she still took the time to educate me and even referred me to a sister company that may fit our budget better. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. Because of this experience, I will absolutely be coming back to Tamara at State Farm every year to have them quote our home, and I will very likely be moving our auto insurance here as well. If you’re looking for a State Farm agent in the Pasadena/Houston area who is honest, patient, and truly helpful, I highly recommend Tamara at the Ken Phelps office.

  Yessenia was very helpful in helping me through an issue with our replacement cards. Their system was down and it was Saturday right before closing time! She contacted the main office to get copies for us!! She was very patient and kind and went above and beyond for me!!
