- MMMichael MorenoJan 31, 20261.0I received an unsolicited insurance advertisement from this agent that included a printed photo of my actual home along with highly specific assumptions about my insurance status, renewal timing, and coverage needs. Even if the image is sourced from public records, using a photo of someone’s residence in direct mail is invasive and intentionally unsettling. The mailer is designed to create a false sense of authority and urgency rather than build trust through transparent, respectful outreach. For me, it had the opposite effect. Marketing that relies on personal imagery and implied insider knowledge crosses a line. Based on this experience alone, I would not consider doing business with this agent or agency.
