  I am writing this review to warn others about a serious issue with Allstate’s policy system and internal communication. My parents, who are not tech-savvy, sold their home in Auburn, WA, in 2022 and purchased a new one in Houston, TX, continuing their insurance with Allstate. Due to no communication between the two Allstate offices meant the policy on the sold home was never canceled. For three years, Allstate has been collecting premiums on a property my parents do not own. Despite being a loyal customer with two separate policies, Allstate failed to guide them and did not have the systems in place to recognize that they were insuring the same customer for two different homes at the same time. The fact that the company did not catch this for over two years is completely unacceptable. They did provide refund for 1 year, but didn’t approve the previous years. We are in the process of canceling our policies and I will be advising all friends and family to avoid Allstate.

  Stop the mail-in spam already! 20+ letters from Allstate agents from the whole state with bait&switch numbers... not okay..
