- BBBlah BlahJan 25, 20261.0My parents had been with allstate for 32 years and never missed a payment. My mom passed away suddenly in July and we did all we could to help my dad take over finances as my mother did everything, but ended up missing payments and the coverage lapsed leaving my dad, brother, and sister with no car insurance. When my dad tried to explain his situation to the agent he was met with 0 sympathy and she was particularly cold to him, saying there's nothing they could do and to find insurance elsewhere. My poor dad had his hopes up that being a loyal client for so long would help in his favor but was met with nothing but rudeness. It hurt me more to see him have his feelings hurt. I have my own policy with allstate as ironically enough, my mom recommended y'all to me. Will be finding another insurance as soon as my coverage lapses. I can't give my money to a company who doesn't stand by their most loyal clients during unexpected hardships.

She took the time to review my previous insurance (Geico) and was able to give me better coverage at a significantly lower price. She explained the coverage in ways I was able to understand (kudos to her because I'm so lost about insurance usually). All pricing was straight forward and I felt like she really did do everything to give me the best deal possible. I haven't had any issues since I made the switch. I get regular email reminders about my upcoming payments and Drivewise info. I would highly recommend!
