- DMdavid mDec 20, 20253.0I initially came to Gibb Agency a year ago because I was frustrated getting nowhere on my own trying to find affordable home insurance. Gibb was able to find me a policy I was comfortable with financially. They were also able to pare a affordable auto insurance policy with the same carrier. Half way through the year I added my youngest daughter to the auto policy and saw the premium skyrocket. Gibb was able to find me a different carrier with a more affordable premium. Gibb did all this in a timely manner and kept me informed. Fast forward to renewal time and it was totally the opposite. The home insurance policy being offered with the same carrier increased by 37%. I requested to try to find me a more affordable policy even if it was with a different carrier. Throughout the process, it was difficult to get in touch or get a response after leaving messages. There were several days where I was left unsure if I was still a client/costumer. Gibb finally came back stating this was the best offer they could find. This was understandable. I elected to find a policy with a carrier on my own. I just want to state this second experience in dealing with Gibb agency was very different from the first experience.

She clearly enjoys helping people understand their policies and does a great job explaining everything. I live in another state, so it was very helpful to get an education about Texas insurance regulations. I had a lot of questions and Shelby got answers to all of them and made sure we covered every detail before finalizing the policy. All of the paperwork she had to do on her end was completed very quickly, and she let me know what to expect at each step. I highly recommend Shelby without reservation.
