  Good rates on insurance, but there's a catch: it's impossible to cancel a policy! I paid 2 years on a renters insurance policy for a place I did not live at because you cannot cancel a policy online. Then when I asked to cancel, they said I owed more money... Thankfully, Evelyn at the Funk Family Agency sorted everything out and got me a partial refund. I was happy that they were responsive to my situation. Just be careful: and realize you can't cancel this online. I didn't think an agency that has commercials during the NBA finals such as allstate would have this predatory practice in 2024, but upon more research I have discovered strikingly few allow online cancellation, but all other insurance policies I have can be, and I will in the future only be taking my business to organizations that allow online cancellation. I'm okay to pay the amount that the insurance costs, but don't lure me in with a low rate then make it impossible to cancel. But this isn't a Steven Funk Agency problem, this is an allstate insurance problem, so I'm leaving this at 5 stars as this organization did respond to my issue.

  Raised my rates $70 a month without explanation! I have not had any wrecks or tickets! Mr Funk was suppose to call me to discuss other options and why it went up and I never got a call! I finally called back and they just said the state raised the rates! Well I will be looking for a new company that has good customer service and will actually call you back!
