- LPLaDon PaigeDec 29, 20251.0If there was an option for 0 stars that’s what I would choose. We had water damage due to a very sudden and accidental leak under our pier and beam home. The main claims adjuster scheduled a local adjuster to come assess the damage between the hours of 8-12 . No show or no call to cancel. Scheduled again no show or no call to cancel. Claim denied twice. We hired an independent adjuster. He was told on 2 different occasions an adjuster would come out. NO ONE EVER CAME. Our claim was DENIED another 2 times. The claim was over $60,0000. We have original hardwood floors (house built in 1955), tile damage, rug and baseboard damage. THE CLAIM WAS DENIED 4 DIFFERENT TIMES FOR DIFFERENT REASONS EACH TIME. AN ADJUSTER NEVER CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO LOOK AT THE DAMAGE. We have hired a lawyer to take care of the matter. I spoke with the agent 1 time. I was told many times by his staff that he was out to lunch or out of office for the day. Left numerous messages with them for a return phone call to no avail. The only time I spoke to the agent was when I told them I would wait on the phone until he returned. We pay over $10,000 a year for our insurance. We have never missed a payment or made any other claims. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR AN adjuster not to come and look at our damage. SEE YOU IN COURT, Allstate!
