Obviously this is Don. It appeared to me that the staff members I talked with had very little experience handling death benefits. After a couple of calls to the Home office answers came more clear. The staff was polite and professional. They just seemed overwhelmed with the process. Now, that could be caused by my very direct manner when I am upset. And, after more than 2 weeks after Linda’s death, I am still overwhelmed. Thanks for your help.
