- LHLeslie HillDec 10, 20252.0The only reason my 2 stars is because Tabitha is always very helpful to me. The rest of them not so much. I recently cancelled my insurance, both homeowners and car. The reason I cancelled these policies is because when I renewed my policies in May 2025 it stated if I paid the whole vehicle policy it would cost $2649 and I was charged 2881 even though that was the price if I made payments. Also right b4 the policy they deducted $550 out of my account with no explanation. Then was charged $149 a couple months after my renewal. They said it was all because I thought about reducing one vehicle to liability only. I changed my mind when I realized it was only a savings of around $200. I even called the corporate office to investigate and they said they couldn't figure it out. Now where allstate wanted $2000 for 6 months for 2 vehicles and the new insurance was $873. Nobody wants to explain these discrepancies. Now the 2011 explorer which we kept fully covered blew its engine so it was removed. The other 2 vehicles were fully covered and still cost $2000. I just wish someone could tell me what the reason is for the price difference (mind u with $750 deductible now where it was $1000 with allstate.
