- BCBrad CamaroteAug 7, 20191.0I was issued a homeowners policy by Allstate in January of 2019. 3 months later I received a notice that my mortgage company did not have an open insurance policy for my home. After uploading my policy documents multiple times, my mortgage company kept telling me I did not have an open policy with Allstate. My Mortgage company contacted Allstate and got a rep on the phone only to find out that my policy was cancelled after 90 days due to "incorrect siding on the peak of roof" My roof is 5 years old and in perfect condition. The large issue is I was given NO NOTICE that my policy was canceled. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. So for months I was without a policy. This is beyond unacceptable. Find another company before the same thing happens to you and it could cost you your entire life savings and home.
