  I patronized this office for years without incident. Today unfortunately I spoke with the manager Marko. In my 72 years I have never spoke with such a unprofessional , rude and condescending person on the phone. He would not allow me to finish a sentence I made several attempts to calm him down to no avail therefore I eventually hang up the phone My stress levels went out of control My body was shaking and I wanted to curse him instead I just hung up the phone very poor people skills .Katie eventually called back Apologize for him she was also able to resolve my issues.. thank you Kathy

  I had a very frustrating experience with Douglas Torpie at Allstate Insurance. Communication was poor, and the overall service was extremely unprofessional. I specifically worked with a representative named DJ, who was not helpful and made the process more difficult than it needed to be. We are paying significantly more compared to Toyota’s insurance options, yet the level of service does not justify the cost. There was a lack of clear guidance, delays in handling our request, and overall poor customer support. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience.

  I have been a client of the Doug Torpie Allstate agency since 1991. Allstate dropped us after Hurricane Sandy, but renewed a few years back. Until recently I never questioned my Allstate, auto, homeowner, umbrella policies with them. Over the past 2 years, DJ has taken over my account. He was constantly snippy and condescending. When I asked for Doug, he was "never in the office" although I have left messages for him. I always got DJ on the phone. He is NOT what you want to handle customers. I gave him several opportunities to be a bit more understanding of my questions, but his tone and answers were curt, I had to remind him that I am the customer. I tried to change to a local Allstate office, however they cannot (by corporate policy) switch brokers. I called my local State Farm agent, gave them all my Allstate documents to compare coverages and rates, they were very accommodating . They also saved me a sizable amount of money. Great service, I should have moved years ago. ...I still have not received a call. by my Allstate Broker. I am very disappointed with Torpie Agency. Buyer beware!
