After 92 days, I can finally re-register my car. I went to Allstate in October 2025 for a simple policy on my brand new Audi S5 and trusted them to do their job.
Turns out, “doing their job” meant: not asking basic questions, not checking my registration, and putting my insurance ID in my personal name while the car was registered to my business.
A couple of months later, I got a DMV letter asking for proof of insurance. I called the office and Joe said to ignore it. I did. A few weeks later, another letter arrived. Surprise! My registration was suspended! The DMV told me my insurance wasn’t recognized because the names didn’t match, even though I paid every month on time.
Allstate’s solution? Refund a few months and backdate their system to make it look like I never even had a policy.
Thank God I didn’t get into an accident during those three months. Even though I paid, I had no coverage at all. If something had happened, I would have been 100% liable, breaking the law, and in total chaos—all because an office of “professionals” and “insurance experts” couldn’t handle basic details.
Moral of the story, don’t trust incompetence with your insurance.

Almost there—after 92 days of waiting to drive our car due to the pitiful incompetence of this office. Anyone who’s unsure of the legitimacy of this post is welcome to reach out; I’ve got it all documented. This place is rude, belittling, and just plain disgusting in how they handle the most important and vulnerable parts of your daily life—then laugh in your face and say, “Oh well, now what?” Yep, all on record. Just get your coverage handled somewhere else.

Just switched to this agency and they were nothing short of amazing. They took care of making the switch as easy as possible plus they were able to save me money! Would highly recommend this family-owned agency!

Trust me, you’d rather sign yourself up to go to the DMV everyday (irony is you’ll end up doing exactly that, going to the DMV to fix the mess this office makes of your policies and coverages) RUN.

One star is generous. The customer service at this Allstate office in Massapequa Park is unacceptable. They are rude, dismissive, and lack basic professionalism while I was trying to resolve a simple issue that happened. This office clearly does not value its customers. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.
