  If you currently have your car insurance with Allstate, it may be worth comparing rates with other providers—I recently switched and significantly reduced my premium. Here’s my experience: On March 9th, I made a payment of $697. Later that same day, I checked my account and saw an additional balance of $115. When I called for clarification, I was told the increase was due to purchasing a new truck. After receiving a much more competitive quote elsewhere, I decided to cancel my policy. At that point, I was told I owed an additional $5, despite my account showing a zero balance. The explanation I received was unclear, but I chose to pay the amount to close the account rather than spend more time disputing it. During the call, I was also told that my rates were influenced by broader factors beyond my personal record—even though I’ve been a customer for 27 years with no tickets or accidents in my household. That was disappointing to hear. Since switching, I now have better coverage across all three vehicles and my camper, including roadside assistance and rental coverage, with consistent deductibles—and at a much lower cost. I’m sharing this simply to encourage others to review their policies and make sure they’re getting fair value for what they’re paying. I also reviewed and switched my home owners insurance from Allstate to Progressive. This review has nothing to do with the rep I spoke to and everything to do with Allstate corporate. Goodbye Allstate and hello Progressive.

  I highly recommend this agency for anyone who needs insurance of any kind.The agents are not only personable to speak with at any time, but are also very professional and highly knowledgeable regarding any questions regarding insurance issues. They have never let me down and if they don't know the immediate answer to a question, they get right back to me with the answers pronto

  Fantastic experience! I just called in order to terminate an older policy and was taken care of 100% with almost no late fees. The gentleman on the phone was caring and hospitable and he got the job done immensely. The policy was not even that expensive in the first place. Highly recommended!
