  Putting an Insurance package is a science and Nelson Espeland as my Allstate agent does not disappoint. No only is he smart and always professional, he is quick to respond and has saved me thousands with my insurance needs over they years. Highly recommended!

  I really don’t like to leave negative reviews of a business, but in this case I must. I’ve been helping to manage bill paying for a recently deceased friend’s homeowners policy.. Since I have access to her email, I reached out on her behalf to let The Espeland Group know she had passed, and to please discontinue autopay of her premiums, which was done. I also asked that paper bills be sent going forward, so I would know when to pay the premium. Apparently this isn’t done anymore. Haven’t seen a paper bill since April. My email inquiry about this went unanswered. Coincidentally, as I was preparing to call the agency, a woman from the agency was calling me. I didn’t recognize the number, so I let it go to my voicemail. When I saw the text of the voicemail I answered. The woman on the other end made a smart ass comment about screening calls, which was not appreciated. She was calling to tell me that a home inspector would be calling me to schedule an inspection of my friend’s house. Ok fine. From that point on, the conversation went from bad to worse when I asked about getting paper bills for the policy, so that the premium would be paid on time. This woman told me that paper bills are no longer an option, and insisted that that fact was shown on page two of the last bill received. It was not. She insisted that it was. I insisted that it was not, since I had the bill in my hand. She was absolutely obnoxious. She kept talking over me, interrupting me. All I wanted to do was pay the bill. I was starting to lose my patience. I couldn’t believe this agency would allow someone like this to interact with clients. It took three times for her to get the numbers correct for the credit card I was using. I was never happier to end a phone call. So in the mail today comes an envelope from this agency, containing balled up pages of the copy of the April bill with a payment receipt. Someone wrote on the page “bill you received” with an arrow pointing down to the payment stub with “with installment schedule-afte bills do not com”. This kind of service, or lack thereof, is unacceptable. I cannot wait until my late friend’s house is sold so we don’t have to deal with these people anymore.

  I started my insurance with nelson's dad, and have kept it with Nelson because he has the same values as his dad. That is a rare thing today. I have never had any reason to look for any other insurance agent. Nelson is a man who will work with you to get you what you want.... and need. Thanks for over 30 years of service.
