- MRMyrna ReissJan 2, 20261.0A simple phone call to the office asking if a leaking hot water pipe in my slab was covered by my policy led to 5 phone calls, being transferred to Malaysia twice disconnected once, then followed by a phone call from the Mello agency who read me my policy and explained why they wouldn’t cover the cost of repairs but insisted I have an adjuster come to the house. This is awful service. Add to that my bill for repairs came to around $3000, plus huge overages on my water and electricity bills (almost $1,500). I was told if I had told the plumber I would have rather had them jackhammer the floor to get to the leak, they would have covered it (minus the deductible) which would have cost around $15,000, and made my house unlivable while the repairs were being done. So, by saving the agency thousands of dollars, I got shafted. Plus I have a real problem with outsourcing American jobs with an American company to foreign countries.

- D:- DOct 16, 20255.0I gotta give a big shout out to this Allstate branch- specifically Mike for not bombarding me on our first conversation over the phone, he was calm and polite, a very laid back man of the people vibe, and has continued to be that way through and through. additionally, they definitely found me savings that made a significant drop in my insurance premiums and the coverage limits increased! it's absolutely worth calling and asking for Mike Malone.
