I’ve been a State Farm agent since 2015, proudly serving the residents of North Platte, NE and the surrounding area, including Maxwell, Brady, Tryon, Stapleton, Wallace, Sutherland, Arnold, Cozad, Gothenburg, Ogallala, Paxton, and Hershey. My licensed, dedicated team handles homeowners insurance, farm and ranch insurance, auto insurance, life insurance and more.
I’ve learned the insurance business from just about every angle. I started in 2003, working for a small long-term care insurance company, then I worked for a life insurance company for several years before joining State Farm as an AFS in 2012. I finally got the chance to open my own agency in early 2015, and of course I jumped at it. Insurance is very personal to me—I’ve seen firsthand the hardships that can come from a lack of insurance, and I’ve made it a goal to help others avoid those problems whenever I can. I’ve worked hard to make my agency warm and welcoming, and my team makes it a point to really get to know our customers and their situations. We cherish our relationships here in the community, and we’re always available to help when there’s a need.
My team is especially good at welcoming new transplants to the area, and helping people get settled here. She was with us every step of the way checking in and keeping things rolling with great communication, professional demeanor, very attentive and excellent customer service. Stuart, the Claims Specialist, was incredible as well. Nobody enjoys having a sudden event happen where you’re looking at a lot of money going out, and our particular situation unfortunately fell outside of something that was covered. However the prompt attention we received from State Farm, as well as open communication and quick follow through does give us a sense of security that should another event happen in the future that is covered under our policy that this team will do everything in their power to make things right. We felt seen, heard, and that every avenue that could be explored, was. A+ for service from State Farm all the way around.
