  Walters insurance company called me and gave me a quote on my homeowners I paid the policy in full about a month and a half later they send me a letter stating that I have to pay $200 extra or I have to put my cars on the policy to keep my price I call the office they tell me they made a mistake but they will not do anything to correct it this is blackmail either pay it or they cancel my policy Mrs. Walters tells me that they made the mistake but she will not credit me the $200

  The Walters group is very friendly and does not mind taking the time to make sure I understand my policy and also make sure that I don’t have more than I need but that I have enough as well.

  I was with this agent for for about 3 years. As long as there were no claims, they had no problem collecting my premium payments. But when I had an accident that wasn’t my fault, they fumbled and put the onus on me to contact the other guys insurance and pursue the issue with them, set up 3 way calls with them and Allstate claims, etc. totally unacceptable. I got a new vehicle and lost a key. Called the dealer, they made one and brought it to me. Replacement wasn’t covered Because it wasn’t considered an emergency And I wasn’t stranded.. cancelled auto after that. And With renters, same thing. Several years, no claims, no problem. Had one claim with a scheduled item. They claim they had no record of, even though they failed to tell me they needed proof of ownership for coverage for every item to be covered. $1k camera lens lost. Heck I’ve paid that in premiums. Cancelled renters after that. So I’m done with lack of disclosure of procedures, having to beg folks to do their job, walking my own claims through their various departments, the disconnect between local agents and corporate claims and being denied because of information the agent didn’t tell me. Clearly our views of what a good neighbor is vary widely.
