- SKSharon KibbeJan 20, 20261.0I called to discuss the email that was sent to me regarding closing down the new bern office and options available moving forward either staying with my current agent or transferring to a new bern agent. Initially I was met with a very abrasive lady that would not give me details about my options and eventually I requested to speak to Michelle directly since she sent the email initially. She did not pick up the call. I left a message. She never returned the call. I called 2 more times and never got through but left messages both times. Never received a call back. In the meantime, I contacted an agent that is staying local in new bern. Multiple times they answered my call and a few times I had to leave messages and they returned my call promptly. I have been with Mr Carl for a few years and until now I have had a good experience. But, if I leave a message I expect to get a call back within a day or so. I will never recommend an agent that ignores calls and does not respond to an inquiry that they initiated with an email about closing down the local office. Terrible way to end. No reflection on Allstate, simply a reflection on this particular agent and his office staff. The sad part is that I most likely would have stayed with their office even though they had closed the local branch. A simple returned call makes a difference.

I feel so comfortable to communicate with her. She also did things very quickly, help my insurance done within a small amount of time, which I really appreciate.
