  I have worked with Shanon several times to help new residents obtain renters insurance. The process was fast and easy for my residents. Shanon offers exceptional service and is knowledgeable and very friendly and professional each time I have called. I look forward to a continued business relationship and highly recommend them!

  Learned something new today - I have had insurance with several companies through the years and have never been charged a “short rate“ for changing policies - well changing from Allstate to State Farm for a lower rate - they charged me a short rate. So if you didn’t know NC Dept of Insurance allows insurance companies to charge a short rate if you cancel prior to your renewal period and it’s a mystery as to how much it is going to cost as the formula and rate are not shared in any documentation. I am not sure how this is legal as one would think you should have access to how to calculate the amount you are being penalized to allow the consumer to make an informed decision. One thing is for sure I will never insure with Carmon Jones at Allstate in Kinston again and probably not Allstate as a company. I caution you to consider this when selecting an agent as well! 😉The more you know. - - Response In 35 years of being insured, I have never heard of or been charged a short rate. Maybe it was luck or maybe it was because the company wanted to leave the door open to earn back my business. State Farm did not notify me of the possibility of a short rate but neither did your office when I switched to you years ago. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

  I love Ms Carmon and Ms Shannon, they are the sweetest ladies and the two of the best insurance agents I’ve ever dealt with. They are always there to help! I would recommend anyone local to their business go through them or just Allstate in general! Best insurance company for my money.
